HCG Side Effects?

HCG Side Effects?

When you are using HCG for weight loss are there any side effects while on the HCG diet or from the HCG itself?

Well again that depends on which method of the HCG diet you are doing.

For injections, yes, there are side effects.

For the newer oral HCG drops there really isn’t any from the HCG itself. For more info on that read this post: HCG Diet Dangers

Both methods work the same so I suggest using the oral HCG drops and here are my reasons…

First off when you are doing the HCG injections you are physically giving yourself a shot. This alone can cause some side effects known to injections and needles, not to mention in a lot of cases you don’t know what you are injecting into yourself.

The next side effect with HCG injections that I have heard of are rashes. I have never heard of rashes with the oral HCG drops but with the injections there are some cases.

They are not dangerous but will make the diet more difficult.

There are also some headaches reported while on the diet but that is mostly from the change in food and not from the HCG. It is also withdrawal symptoms if you have been used to drinking caffeine or diet sodas or excessively sweet foods. This is a good thing as your body is cleansing itself and getting used to the good stuff again.

With the injections I have also heard about moodiness but again, that’s probably from the diet and not the HCG. When you are first starting out the diet it is natural to feel moody when you can’t emotionally eat anymore. Again, this is a GOOD thing. Emotionally eating is one of the big reasons why people are overweight so it’s good to stop.

There have also been some rare cases of hair loss but again that’s from the diet and once these people are off the diet, any small amount of hair loss stops and the hair grows back. I have not heard about hair loss on the oral HCG drops.

So mostly the side effects are from the HCG injections and not a lot of the HCG drops. That’s why I recommend the drops as they have the same results but in my opinion are safer.

I get my supplies from here: Oral HCG Drops. But if you want to do the injections you will have to get a prescription for them. And as a side note I would not order my HCG injections from those overseas pharmacy’s because they do not have FDA regulations in those other countries and you don’t know what you are getting.

Go with someone from the USA who knows what they are doing.
